    Stage 1:
    Pre-filter collects larger-sized particles in the air such as pollen and hair

    Stage 2,3,4:
    Multifilters (white): remove 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 micron or larger Multicatalyst filters (grey): absorb and decompose harmful gases such as ammonia and carbon monoxide Active carbon filters (black): Remove smoke and odour

    Stage 5:
    Ion generator: Releases negative ions to remove airborne contaminants (such as smog, pollen and dust)

    Filters last 6-12 months in normal use.
